Appearance
The Aion Y electric car adopts a closed front design with distinctive "angel wing" headlights integrated with banner-style daytime running lights for a sharp and modern appearance. The lower surround features a trapezoidal air intake decorated with a grid-like structure, complemented by a through-type chrome strip on the front lip. The straight roofline creates a floating roof effect, while the sleek waistline runs through the body, paired with hidden door handles and 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels. With a large A-pillar inclination, a blackened B-pillar, a sporty rear wing, and a through-type taillight group, the rear design is stylishly completed with integrated chrome trim and a concave license plate frame area.
Interior
Inside, the Aion Y Plus offers a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch floating central control screen, supporting OTA upgrades, navigation, and road condition displays. The leather-covered three-spoke multifunction steering wheel features a hand-held gear shift mechanism. The minimalist interior design includes a secondary panel with a phone storage slot, cup holders, and a hollowed-out base for added storage. Features such as automatic air conditioning, rear air vents, and fabric seats enhance comfort. The front seats can recline fully flat, while the rear seats support proportional folding, offering excellent versatility for daily use.
Performance and POWER
Aion Y car delivers linear power output, offering quick starts and smooth acceleration on urban roads, meeting daily commuting needs. However, its power and torque are slightly lower than the previous model, making sudden acceleration and high-speed overtaking less robust. It features 58.4 kWh and 58.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery packs, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 510 kilometers, sufficient for daily and short intercity travel. The McPherson independent front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension balance bump absorption and driving comfort. Electric power steering ensures light, flexible control.
