Beijing Elantra 1.5L2023 1.5T CVT LUX Luxury Edition Black

The "Korean heritage" of the Hyundai Elantra is immediately apparent from its exterior design. The overall body looks mild and delicate, but the redesigned front end has a very aggressive look. Two pronounced lines on the hood extend forward to a small but prominent grille, giving a strong forward thrust impression. The redesigned wedge-shaped headlights are sportier and more aggressive compared to the Sonata's peanut-shaped ones. The headlights even adopt a "fog black" effect, making them resemble modified versions, though the grille appears somewhat cramped due to the headlights. The multifaceted rear shape resembles that of the Buick Excelle (which is essentially the Daewoo Nubira), possibly because of similar aesthetic standards between Koreans or a preference for Italian designers by Korean companies—this remains unclear.

    product description

The interior of the Elantra features simple lines with a fresh beige color scheme, complemented by matte metallic panels on the center console and door handles, giving it a fashionable look. The plastic materials of the dashboard feel decent, not giving a particularly cheap impression. However, if scrutinized, the assembly quality in some areas could be improved. Overall, the craftsmanship and quality are on par with some domestically produced European or Japanese cars.
The Elantra's dimensions are 4495mm in length, 1720mm in width, and 1425mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2610mm, making it quite prominent in its class. Its interior space is also standard for its class, with notable width and ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear seats.

    about this item

The Beijing Hyundai Elantra series offers models equipped with either 1.6-liter or 1.8-liter engines. The 1.6L model is equipped with an inline 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine. In actual driving, the power of this model seems somewhat underwhelming, making it difficult to achieve a matching driving experience. There have been complaints that even with the gas pedal fully pressed, the engine roars but the speedometer climbs slowly. Comparatively, the 1.8 DOHC engine in the Elantra performs much better. With a displacement of 1.795L, it produces a maximum power of 96kW at 6000rpm and a torque of 162Nm at 4500rpm, achieving the highest fuel combustion efficiency. In actual tests, the 1.8L Elantra exhibited good high-speed stability, smooth starts, and a relatively gentle acceleration process, failing to match the strong sporty feel suggested by its body design. However, a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 12.3 seconds is still quite acceptable.
