The Jetour Freedom was officially launched on March 7. The new car has been pre-sold before. It is positioned as a compact SUV and has a total of 4 configurations. The pre-sale price range is 129,900-159,900 yuan. The car can be regarded as the fuel version of Shanhai T1, and will provide 1.5T and 2.0T power.

In terms of appearance, the overall shape of the car continues the square box shape of Shanhai T1, and the details of the grille are adjusted, and the English logo of the "JETOUR" brand is added. The side of the body uses the design techniques commonly used in off-road vehicles, such as high body, muscular wheel eyebrows and straight waistline, which has a prominent visual effect. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4706/1967/1845mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2810mm.
In terms of interior, the previous texture design has been removed, the overall look is cleaner and tidier, the soft package area has also been greatly increased, and a new steering wheel has been installed. The interior is available in two colors: light luxury beige and dusk cloud gray. The new car also adopts a hand-held gear design, the central control area has been simplified, a larger storage space has been added, and a smart car refrigerator has been added to the central armrest area, which can achieve 35℃~50℃ insulation and heating, and -6℃~6℃ freezing.


In terms of power, the Jetour Freedom offers two power options: 1.5T/2.0T Kunpeng. The former has a maximum power of 135kW and a maximum torque of 290N·m, matched with a 7DCT gearbox; the latter has a maximum power of 187kW and a maximum torque of 390N·m, matched with an 8AT gearbox. In addition, the new car will also provide a four-wheel drive version, which is equipped with BorgWarner's sixth-generation four-wheel drive system, with a "7+X" driving mode, and a special X mode that can intelligently identify road conditions and automatically distribute torque.
