2025 Kia Sportage officially launched
The new car has not changed much in appearance. It still adopts the new tiger roar style front face design, adopts the "boomerang" style LED daytime running lights, and is integrated with the front grille. The high and low beam light groups on both sides are also well recognizable. In terms of body size, the new car is 4670/1865/1680mm in length, width and height respectively, and the wheelbase is 2755mm.

The newly launched 1.5T Luxury Comfort Edition adds a panoramic sunroof, a 6-way electric driver's seat, and electric folding/heating of the exterior mirrors. The 2.0T Luxury Comfort Edition adds a panoramic sunroof and electric folding/heating of the exterior mirrors. The 1.5T/2.0T Premium Smart Edition adds SVM 360-degree panoramic image and BVM side rear image. The 2025 Kia Lion Platinum is also equipped with Kia Connect & Baidu Intelligent Interconnection System 3.0, with a standard 12.3-inch colorful instrument panel and multimedia touch screen, providing voice recognition, real-time online navigation, remote control, car-home interconnection, OTA upgrades and other intelligent configurations.
The 2025 Kia Sportage series is standardly equipped with 10 practical intelligent driving assistance configurations including FCA forward collision avoidance assist, FCW forward collision warning, LFA lane following assist, LKA lane keeping assist, LDW lane departure warning, ISLA intelligent speed limit assist, DAW driver fatigue reminder, HBA intelligent high and low beam adjustment, etc.; the 2025 Kia Lion Platinum also provides HDA highway driving assistance, NSCC-Z/C navigation-based intelligent cruise control, BCW blind spot collision avoidance warning, RCCA rear cross collision avoidance assist, SEW safe exit warning and other practical functions.


In terms of power, the 1.5T engine adopts the fourth-generation CVVD technology, which can achieve high-quality effects of Atkinson, Otto and Miller engine cycles, with a maximum power of 200 horsepower and a maximum torque of 253 Nm. The transmission system adopts an 8AT manual transmission; the 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 236 horsepower and a maximum torque of 353 Nm. This version can be equipped with an electronic timely four-wheel drive system with an acceleration time of 0-100km/h of 7.8s; the 2.0L HEV version is equipped with a TMED hybrid system with a maximum power of 200 horsepower and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. The WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is 5.6L/100km.
