BYD Yuan PLUS (Smart Driving Edition) held a launch conference at 15:00 on March 5. The appearance and interior of the new car will be upgraded, the configuration will be increased, and it will be equipped with the Eye of God C Smart Driving System. The car is positioned as a compact pure electric SUV.
In terms of appearance, the changes to the front face of the Yuan PLUS Smart Driving Edition are mainly concentrated in the front bumper. The new front bumper is sharper and more dynamic, and the front headlight group is smoked black. The style of the entire front face has changed significantly.
On the side of the body, the chrome decoration of the side skirts and C-pillars have been optimized, and new wheels have been replaced, with a more dynamic style. At the rear of the vehicle, the taillights are lit up like a Chinese knot, and the rear bumper has also been redesigned to show crossover elements, and the rear spoiler is also more dynamic.
In terms of interior, the previous texture design has been removed, the overall look is cleaner and tidier, the soft package area has also been greatly increased, and a new steering wheel has been installed. The interior is available in two colors: light luxury beige and dusk cloud gray. The new car also adopts a hand-held gear design, the central control area has been simplified, a larger storage space has been added, and a smart car refrigerator has been added to the central armrest area, which can achieve 35℃~50℃ insulation and heating, and -6℃~6℃ freezing.
In terms of intelligence, the new car is equipped with a larger LCD instrument panel that can display navigation, smart driving and other information. It is also equipped with a W-HUD head-up display system and fatigue monitoring. In terms of vehicle computer, Yuan PLUS Smart Driving will be equipped with the advanced version of the smart cockpit - DiLink 100, equipped with a 5G chip, including full-scene intelligent voice system, 3D car control and other functions.
In terms of power, the car will be equipped with a drive motor model TZ200XSQ with a maximum power of 150 kilowatts, the same as the current model. In terms of battery life, referring to the current model, it will provide a range of 430 kilometers and 510 kilometers.
